About Ferdi's Scuba

Ferdi's Scuba is Veteran Owned and Operated on the island of Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii. Founded by Scott "Ferdi" Ferdinando a Navy Retired Veteran who served  from 1999-2020 as a Helicopter Naval Aircrewman / Search and Rescue Swimmer in a tactical helicopter with over 3,000 flight hours. 

Originally from New Jersey, I now call Oahu home after my 21 year military career. While on active duty, I was fortunate to be stationed in Hawaii with HSL 37 / HSM-37 for three tours and two tours out of North Island, San Diego for Instructor Duty at HSL-41 and CNATTU NI.

 After an amazing career in the Navy, my passion from being an Aircrewman/Instructor I turning my old office in the sky to an office underwater where I can now share my passion for scuba diving with everyone and provide a personal experience to all my customers at an affordable rate.   

Since opening in 2021, I have always been committed to providing high quality professional service  Whether it’s simplifying scuba skill and/or instructions or making you more excited about your dive certification!  I do everything possible to create the best learning environment with putting the safety above all else.
